Arch Law Office, an Edmonton based law office that practices family law, immigration law, and wills and estates, was founded by Onosen Mike-Ifeta. Onosen is an internationally trained lawyer and was called to the Bar outside of jurisdiction in 2004. Onosen is a former Senior Child Protection Social Worker (UK), a former Child Guardian & Family Court Advisor (UK), and a former Adoption & Foster Carer Assessor (UK). Onosen’s unique insight garnered from her previous careers drives her passion for excellence and determination to advocate fearlessly for her clients.
Onosen understands that legal dilemmas involving family matters are challenging to navigate, and she aims to resolve clients’ issues amicably and respectfully. Onosen relates well to clients. She is empathic, hard-working, and is focused on meeting client objectives promptly. She is patient and understanding and has an eye for detail.
Her areas of expertise included resolving disputes between married and common-law couples, including parenting, custody, child and spousal support, division of matrimonial property and drafting separation and cohabitation agreements.
Onosen has represented clients in the Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court of Alberta. She is committed to giving back to the profession of law and the community at large and has done so by serving clients through the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Legal Aid. Outside of the office, Onosen is a proud basketball mom.
