Leadership profile

Advocating fearlessly,
guided by exceptional experience.

Arch Law Office was founded by Onosen Mike-Ifeta with a steadfast commitment: that legal advice during family separation, estate planning, and immigration must be personal, dignified, and clear.

Onosen is an internationally trained lawyer who was called to the Bar outside of jurisdiction in 2004. Prior to practicing in Alberta, Onosen built a distinguished, specialized career in the United Kingdom in child welfare and family systems:

  • Former Senior Child Protection Social Worker (UK)
  • Former Child Guardian & Family Court Advisor (UK)
  • Former Adoption & Foster Carer Assessor (UK)

This background gives Onosen a rare, intuitive understanding of interpersonal dynamics and child development. When clients come to her during the breakdown of a marriage or relationship, they encounter an advocate who understands the emotional undercurrents and works deliberately to de-escalate hostility while fiercely protecting their rights.

Onosen relates exceptionally well to clients. She is empathic, hard-working, and focused on meeting client objectives promptly. She is patient and understanding, with an eagle eye for detail in complex property division, spousal and child support calculations, and separation agreements.

She has represented clients in the Court of King's Bench and Provincial Court of Alberta. Onosen is committed to giving back, frequently serving clients through the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Legal Aid. Outside the office, Onosen is a proud basketball mom.
